Saccharoses and lactoses

Unipex’ Saccharoses (Téreos) and Lactoses (Meggle) for direct compression were developed to obtain optimal hardness and direct compression profiles.  Those compressible powders reduce significantly manufacturing costs.

Direct compression of saccharose (Téréos)

  • Compressuc PS:
100 % saccharose spherical granules obtained through an innovative atomization process
    Bean-size distribution: D(v0,5): 150 to 300 µm
Weak structure which compresses easily, without additives of 5 KN to 40 KN
Grade USP / NF - EP – JP
  • Compressuc MS:
    97 % saccharose spherical granules – 3 % Maltodextrin obtained through atomization
    Bean-size distribution: D(v0,5): 150 to 300 µm
    Excellent compressibility
    Grade USP/NF – BP
  • Alvéosucre line:
    • Alvéosucre: saccharose spherical granules obtained through humid granulation of pure icing sugar
    • Dextrinated Alvéosucre: humid granulation of pure icing sugar with dehydrated glycose syrup. Allows a very strong compaction

Direct compression of monohydrated lactose (Meggle)

  • The Tablettose line
Lactose spherical granules obtained through humid granulation
    A variety of bean-size distribution (70 to 100 Mesh)
  • Flowlac 100 and 90
    Spherical granules obtained through atomization
    Two 2 bean-size distributions: 100 and 90 Mesh
Excellent pourability and better tablet hardness
  • Compounds
Cellactose 80: Lactose + Cellulose (80 mesh granulo)
Microcelac 100: Lactose + Microcristaline Cellulose (100 mesh granulo)
